Welcome to The Honeywell-Garrett Retirees Club of Arizona!
The Honeywell-Garrett Retirees Club of Arizona is a social organization of retirees from the Phoenix area AiResearch division, Garrett division, legacy Garrett divisions of AlliedSignal or legacy Garrett divisions of Honeywell Aerospace. We meet on the first Wednesdays of most months, hold social events, support local charities, and conduct a scholarship program for member descendants.

We had a very interesting meeting on May 1st, with Dr. Peter Swan, Director and Vice President of the International Space Elevator Consortium (ISEC) as our guest speaker. He was very entertaining and explained to the twenty-one Club members in attendance, “What is a Space Elevator?” Check out the newsletter under the Vice President’s Report section for the fascinating details.
Now that June is approaching it’s time for our annual summer break. The next Club meeting will be in the fall on Wednesday, October 2nd at the Granite Reef Senior Center – 1700 N Granite Reef Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85257.
